The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

The single most pressing issue facing our town is ensuring that we remain a healthy, prosperous community well into the future. We have a tremendous community here, both in terms of the resources available to us, like our schools, and the people that live in Fairfield. If elected, I will fight to make sure our decision-making as to this use of resources is prudent and responsible. I will also make it my mission to bring our residents together to focus on what keeps us safe and thriving.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

I represent both the longtime Fairfield residents, and the younger generation of families in town. I was born and raised in Fairfield and went to its schools, community events, and church here. As a new father, I am also concerned about what Fairfield, and its schools, will look like in the coming decades. Understanding both what has made Fairfield great, including how I was able to benefit so much from growing up here, and how to make it even better for future generations, gives me a unique perspective among other candidates.

Accomplishments:

As a litigation attorney, I advocate for clients everyday. I have absolutely no problem using those skills on behalf of my constituents to fight for our community's interests. That means taking a critical look at spending, budgetary and investment choices, and other decisions made by our town's leadership. Additionally, as an Eagle Scout from Troop 88 at Fairfield's Grace United Methodist Church, we were taught to leave a place better than how we found it. That is exactly what I will do if elected to represent District 3 in the RTM.

Other issues:

My campaign is defined by preserving everything that makes Fairfield great, including its schools, its character, and its safety, while improving it where possible. That means responsibly managing its finances, budget and growth in a sustainable manner, while at the same time fully investing in its schools. This platform will benefit all residents, whether someone has children in its schools or not, and will continue to make Fairfield a highly desirable place to live.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I am both a longtime Fairfield resident, born and raised here, and a new father in a young family. I understand those most concerned about preserving the best aspects of Fairfield, and improving on it to create a better future. My positions reflect my appreciation for how great our town has been, and how we can make it even better for future generations. I know Fairfield can be just as special a place from my one year old daughter as it has been for me.
