FAIRFIELD, CT — A crash between a tractor trailer truck and another vehicle Friday afternoon has led to the temporary closure of the right southbound lane on Interstate 95 in Fairfield, according to the state Department of Transportation. The lane was reopened by 1:20 p.m.

The crash occurred between Exits 23 and 22, but has caused 2.5 miles of congestion between Exits 25 and 21.

No information was available whether there were injuries.
