Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Longtime Fugitive from Justice in Fairfield: Report
The man was wanted on an arrest warrant out of Florida that was issued back in 1979.
FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield man was arrested as a fugitive from justice after a routine traffic stop on Friday night, according to the Fairfield Minuteman.
The Minuteman reports that during the stop, Fairfield Police learned that Michael Kali, 59, was wanted by Florida Police on a warrant for grand theft auto.
The warrant was issued back in 1979, according to the Minuteman.
