'Untimely Death' Under Investigation In Fairfield: Police
The death appeared to be an isolated incident, Fairfield police said, adding there is no danger to the surrounding neighborhood.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Police are investigating an "untimely death" after a woman was found dead in a Fairfield home, according to a department news release.
Law enforcement responded about 10 a.m. Saturday to a residence in the 700 block of Riverside Drive, police said. Inside the home, they found a middle aged woman who had died, according to the news release.
"Detectives are currently on scene determining if in fact, a crime occurred," said the news release, sent mid-afternoon Saturday. "... At this time, it appears that this is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the surrounding neighborhood or its residents."

The woman's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
