Fairfield police arrested the suspect, who allegedly stole two vacuum cleaners worth nearly $900, on a warrant.

A man suspected of stealing two vacuum cleaners from Bed, Bath & Beyond in April failed to make a clean getaway when store employees were able to record the license plate of the car he jumped into and police tracked him down.

The Fairfield Citizen reports Joshua Hogberg, 26, of Bristol, was arrested May 25 on a warrant.

Hogberg is accused of stealing two Dyson vacuum cleaners that are worth $899.98, according to the Citizen.
