Vehicles Stolen In String Of Burglaries In Fairfield

Police are investigating a string of car burglaries and thefts that have occurred in several areas of Fairfield.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Two vehicles were reported stolen in a string of car burglaries and thefts that police are investigating that occurred in various parts of Fairfield over the weekend and earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reports a 2008 Mercedes Benz was stolen from a driveway on Halley Avenue and a 2009 Infiniti was taken from a Harvester Road driveway. A $750 pair of designer sunglasses and a $600 laptop were among the items stolen from unlocked vehicles in different areas of town. Areas where burglaries, or suspicious activity, were also reported include Middlebrook Drive, High Street, Pansy Road, Valley View Road, Wagon Hill Road, Church Hill Road, Short Hill Lane, Woodland Road and Tahmore Court.
