Video Of Verizon Robbery In Fairfield Released By Cops

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield police have released a video of a Saturday robbery at a Verizon store in town. The security footage shows two men enter the business, steal devices and run out of the store.
The incident began about 5:20 p.m. at 1929 Black Rock Turnpike, where one of the suspects threatened physical violence against the store clerk and stole a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, a Samsung Galaxy Tab E, an iPhone 11 and an iPhone Xs Max, according to police. The suspects ran from the scene, heading north through the parking lot, police said. No one was injured during the incident.

The man who stole the items and threatened the clerk is black and was wearing a dark Nike sweatshirt, light pants and light shoes with dark trim, according to the video. A second man, who spent much of the robbery on a cellphone, is Hispanic and was wearing a dark hoodie with a logo and faded jeans. The video shows both men's faces, but they appear blurry and pixelated.
