Obituary: Wayne Albert Kline, 51; Fairfield Native

Wayne, who was a logger in Maine for several years, was the owner of WK Painting and Remodeling.

Wayne Albert Kline, 51, of Stratford, went home to be with his Lord Monday, January 23, 2017. He was the son of Joan and Tim Kline of Fairfield.

Born in Norwalk on May 25, 1965, he grew up with three siblings, Leslie, Earl and Lori, whom he loved and who loved him dearly. He graduated from Andrew Warde High School and was a logger in Maine for several years before his return to Fairfield.

Wayne was the owner of WK Painting and Remodeling. His loves were listening to tapes of God’s word and volunteering at Black Rock Church. He also enjoyed a sunny day at the beach, traveling and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Jesse Kline of Sebago, Maine, his siblings, Leslie Cichon Allen of Milford, Earl Kline and his wife Carol of Casco, Maine and Lori “Beaner” Swindon and her husband Jay Swindon of Sandy Hook, his girlfriend, Sara Perez and her daughter Victoria of Stratford. Additionally, three nephews, Timothy Kline and family, Travis Kline and family and Jake Swindon, and four nieces: Gina Cichon, Gabriella Swindon, Rebecca Swindon and Frankie Swindon.

A service celebrating Wayne’s life and his entrance into Heaven will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Black Rock Church, 3685 Black Rock Tpke, Fairfield. A private burial will be held in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
