Woman Robbed At Gunpoint During Meeting For Online Sale: Cops
The victim arranged online to meet a man who was interested in buying a phone, but the exchange took a turn, according to Fairfield police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A man has been charged after a woman was robbed at gunpoint while meeting someone who had agreed online to buy a phone from her, according to police. The incident was reported before 7:30 p.m. Aug. 7 in the zero block of Hunyadi Avenue, Fairfield police stated in a news release. The victim arranged through social media to meet a man in the area to sell the phone, but while the buyer was in her vehicle, another man approached the car with a weapon and robbed her, according to police.
Both men fled the scene, but detectives later discovered a social media page that identified the suspect and his accomplice, the news release stated. Xavier Nathaniel Parks, 20, of the 100 block of Hunyadi Avenue, was arrested and charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, according to police. His bond was set at $100,000.
