Woman Takes Toys From Collection Boxes at Police Headquarters: PD
Fairfield Police charged a woman with trying to take the toys that are distributed to sick and needy children.

A Seymour woman is accused of trying to take more than $300 worth of toys from a collection box for sick and needy kids — at Fairfield Police headquarters, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports Judith Howard, 55, was arrested on a charge of sixth-degree larceny after a dispatcher saw her on surveillance cameras taking toys from collection boxes in the lobby and putting them in car that was parked outside late Tuesday night.
Howard initially told police that she thought the toys had been left in the boxes for people to take, according to the Citizen.
