FAIRFIELD, CT — Fire and police crews responded Friday to a house on Elm Street after a worker fell onto a roof and injured himself, according to a Facebook post from the Fairfield Fire Department. The worker was climbing a ladder from the porch roof to the main roof of the home when the ladder slipped and he fell onto the porch roof, hurting his ankle, according to the post, which was timestamped 4:22 p.m. The worker was taken to a hospital.
