1 Killed In Head-On Car Crash In Burlington: Police
The two-car crash happened Friday evening on Route 4, according to Connecticut State Police.
BURLINGTON, CT — A man is dead following a head-on collision on Route 4 in Burlington on Friday, according to Connecticut State Police.
The crash happened shortly after 6 p.m. near Canton Road, state police said in an accident report. Anthony Martocci, 38, of Meriden, was driving westbound on Route 4 when his car crossed the center median and collided head-on with another car traveling eastbound.
According to police, Martocci's car came to a rest in the eastbound lane while the other car, driven by Hector DeJesus of Torrington, stopped off the right shoulder of Route 4.

Martocci was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. DeJesus was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, police said.
