Union School’s PTO was able to give $1,500 toward field trips in the 2013-2014 school year because of its participation in Stop & Shop’s A+ School Rewards program.
Steve Boyer, store manager of Stop and Shop in Unionville, located just blocks away from Union School, presented Kara Rapp, PTO Stop & Shop Committee Chair, and Nichole Bittner, PTO President, with a $1,500 check on June 7th.
Mrs. Rapp and the PTO actively recruited the greater Union School community to make the program a success. To make it as easy as possible to enroll, Mrs. Rapp took names and reward card numbers and registered them with Stop & Shop, designating Union School as the beneficiary.
