Town Historian Betty Coykendall brought the books to the grand reopening of the Farmington Room at the Farmington Main Library.

At the grand reopening of the Farmington Room at the Farmington Main Library, Town Historian Betty Coykendall returned two books that are 200-years-old, reported the Hartford Courant.

Volumes II and III of “A History of Greece” were printed in Dublin in 1786 and were recently obtained in an online auction.

Written in the books are the name of a Farmington resident and a date, showing who owned them in the 1800s.
