50 Cent's Farmington Mansion Burglarized; Windsor Man Arrested

The 50,000 square foot mansion was formerly owned by Mike Tyson and has been unsuccessfully put on the market several times in recent years.

FARMINGTON, CT — A Farmington mansion belonging to rapper 50 Cent was burglarized Tuesday, and a suspect has been placed under arrest.

Farmington police were dispatched to the 50,000-square-foot mansion at 50 Poplar Hill Drive at 12:21 p.m. for the report of a burglary in progress. On-site security was alerted to an entry alarm, and upon investigation, an unknown person was seen on the property, Lt. Patrick Buckley said.

Police located a lone suspect on the premises and determined that he forced his way in to the residence there. A search of the premises with Farmington officers and a canine revealed no one else at the location, and nothing appeared to be stolen at that time, Buckley said.
