Sophomore Alexandra P. placed third overall at the Cross Country Founders Championships, held Saturday, November 4 at The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Connecticut. Alexandra competed among 61 runners and finished in a time of 20:23 (a 6:40 pace).
"Alexandra is an exemplary runner and teammate in every sense," notes Head Coach Hur-Shiu Webb. "She is talented, hard working, and has an incredible athletic drive. She gives every race and practice her all, and still makes time to cheer on her fellow teammates. We are so lucky to have her on our cross country team."
Porter's cross country team is led by Head Coach Hur-Shiu Webb and Assistant Coach Paul Dolan. The team next competes at the NEPSTA Division I Championships, to be held Saturday, November 11 at 1:30 p.m. at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut.
