FARMINGTON, CT — The Farmington Police Department is encouraging residents to complete a confidential online survey aimed at gathering feedback about police services and community needs.

Farmington Police Chief Paul Melanson said the department is seeking input to help evaluate current operations and identify areas for improvement and future planning.

“The men and women of the Farmington Police Department take great pride in providing quality, professional service to everyone in our community,” Melanson said in a statement released by the department. “We always want to ensure we are being responsive to your needs.”

Melanson said resident feedback is “invaluable to enhancing our services and for future planning.”

The department said participation in the survey is voluntary and responses will remain confidential.

Residents can access the Citizen Survey through the Farmington Police Department website.
