Deer, and turkeys, and chipmunks—oh my! Whooo-oo knows what sights and sounds we'll discover in the forest this Halloween weekend on Sunday, October 30 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. on the Nancy Conklin Trail in Farmington. Families can enjoy this easy 1- to 2-mile (depending on the group) walk along a flat trail that is great for little legs. Bring your favorite Halloween prop that it is light enough to carry and will not inhibit walking.
We will still walk in light rain. Heavy rain or thunderstorms will cancel. Advanced registration is welcome but not required; contact CFPA at (860) 346-TREE or info@ctwoodlands.org. We look forward to seeing you and your family on the trail! For directions, more details, and other rambles, visit www.walkct.org and click on Family Rambles.

Because these adventures are geared specifically for families, kids and their caregivers can delight in this outdoor quest for fun together. Babies in secured backpacks are welcome.
Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA), founded in 1895, is a non-profit organization serving Connecticut to protect forests, parks, walking trails, and open spaces for future generations.
