Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern's annual graduation ceremony was held at the XL Center in Hartford on May 15, with more than 12,000 family members and friends cheering on their sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, as 1,105 undergraduates and 85 graduate students received their diplomas. Graduates from Farmington were: David Borovsky, Bachelor of Science in Accounting; Andrea Slater, Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology; Ian Joerres, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts; Dianalysse Floran, Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts; and James Heath-Ringrose, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

• Emmanuel College in Boston celebrated its 96th Commencement Exercises on Saturday, May 12, 2018, adding hundreds of graduates to the global network of Emmanuel alumni who are making their mark on the world. The College conferred degrees on three students from Farmington: Julia Bialko, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design; Anthony Buono, Bachelor of Arts in Managament; and Sabrina Drezek, Bachelor of Arts in Management with a concentration in Marketing, cum laude.

University of the Sciences, Philadelphia PA

• Joby Cherian of Farmington was among the graduates recognized during University of the Sciences' 197th commencement celebration on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, in Philadelphia. Cherian graduated with a BS in health science degree.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University congratulates more than 700 students who received their academic degrees. Michelle Corriveau of Farmington graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Psychology. Tatianna Mason of Unionville graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/International Business and Marketing. Carla Vicente of Farmington graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication - Public Relations.
