Farmington Assisted-Living Site Gets Interior Makeover

FARMINGTON, CT — An assisted living facility in town recently unveiled multiple renovations aimed at improving the lives of the elderly residents living there.

Farmington Station Senior Living, located at 111 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington, said the renovations usher "in modern, stylish updates to its common spaces."

The assisted living and compass memory support community, professionally managed by Senior Living Residences of Massachusetts, launched this renovation project in 2021.

The project focused on updates to essential spaces, including the living room, lobby and private dining room.

Renovations are complete with new carpeting and furnishings, fresh paint throughout the first floor, as well as updated upholstery fabrics, accessories and light fixtures.

"As a whole, the project incorporated contemporary design elements and drew inspiration from the history and natural surroundings of the towns of Farmington and Bristol," reads a release from Farmington Station.

"While the senior community is unveiling these updates, their commitment to enhancing each resident’s quality of life remains unchanged."

Farmington Station offers assisted living services and a secure neighborhood for those with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
