Chloe has come such a long way since her freshman year. She has risen to the occasion not only herself as a competitor but also as a group member and leader, helping her team members improve their performances. As a freshman she was late to get her paperwork in, late to the bus and begging for hair nets. Now she sets the example by showing up ready to go. Even Cara Brown, a former coach, made a comment at how mature this senior captain has become.
At the recent show last Sunday, Chloe did all the preparation and support work without a complaint. Then, when it was her time to show, she got in the saddle and rode a beautiful course of fences outside in the pouring rain. She placed 2nd over fences and 3rd on the flat in the Varsity Open division. This helped lead our team to victory against 7 other barns. What I admire most about this rider is how she has refused to throw the towel in this year. No longer does she let a small mistake ruin her whole ride. She gets over it, moves on, and continues her ride with a high level of professionalism. There were some big shoes to fill but Chloe Rosichan has certainly come a long way and is leaving a mark of her own.
