This weeks athlete of the week is Marjorie Plants '21 from the varsity ski team.
Plants '21 started Friday's slalom race at the back of the field, 52nd out of 59 racers. Two of the ruts that had formed were bigger than Plants '21 herself. She aced the first run with a small bobble at the start and then slammed the second run and took off two seconds. Her combined time put her only three hundredths of a second out of second place, finishing 3rd overall (including male and female competitors). Congratulations on athlete of the week, Marjorie.
