Award-Winning Farmington Senior Living Site To Host Open House

FARMINGTON, CT — An award-winning assisted living facility in Farmington is having a special open house event this Sunday, June 22, to show off what it has to offer.

Masonicare at Middlewoods of Farmington, located at 509 Middle Road, Farmington, will host the open house from 1 to 3 p.m.

Guests can tour the community, meet and greet Masonicare residents and staff, ask questions, and learn more about its activities and amenities.

The event will also offer information about the community’s popular 60-day trial stay option.

The nonprofit Masonicare at Middlewoods of Farmington was recently honored with the Avon/Canton Chamber of Commerce’s “Large Business of the Year” Award.

Members of the Farmington senior living community were recognized and presented with the award at the Chamber’s 60th Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon, held at the Farmington Polo Club on May 21.

Executive Director, Bianca Turcotte-Reome, received the award on behalf of the community.

Earlier this year, the Middlewoods community (previously affiliated with United Methodist Homes) was part of a formal merger with Masonicare, Connecticut’s largest not-for-profit senior living and healthcare provider.
