The Farmington Food Pantry will collect food Saturday at Stop & Shop in Unionville as it works to replenish low summer inventory.
FARMINGTON, CT — The Farmington Food Pantry is asking residents to help replenish its shelves during a back-to-school food drive Saturday in Unionville.
The food drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at Stop & Shop in Unionville, 1799 Farmington Ave.
Pantry officials said inventory tends to run particularly low during the summer, when children are out of school and donations decline.
