Basketball, Hockey Update for Farmington High School
A look at the postseason possibilities for Indians basketball and the ice hockey co-op.

As regular season play on the ice and hardcourt enters its final weeks, one Farmington High School team has already qualified for state tournament competition and another is on the brink, while a third needs to get hot to make the dance.
Already In
Girls basketball upped its record to 11-6 with an easy 52-18 home win Tuesday over Bulkeley. The Indians are currently ranked 15th in Class L with three games remaining. Next: home vs. Windsor, Thursday, 7 p.m.

Looking good
The Farmington Valley ice hockey co-op, consisting of Farmington, Avon, Windsor and Lewis Mills, stands at 7-5, and will automatically qualify for the Division II tournament with one victory in its final eight contests. The Generals are currently ranked ninth in D-II, despite losing four of their last five outings. Next: at NFA co-op, Wednesday, 5 p.m.
