Bert Wachtelhausen Named ConnectiCare's New Senior Vice President, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer
Wachtelhausen will lead ConnectiCare's sales, account management, marketing and underwriting teams.

FARMINGTON, CT (August 11, 2016) – ConnectiCare, one of Connecticut’s leading health plans, is happy to announce the appointment of Roberta (Bert) Wachtelhausen as its new Senior Vice President, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. Ms. Wachtelhausen will lead ConnectiCare’s sales, account management, marketing and underwriting teams.

Prior to joining ConnectiCare, Ms. Wachtelhausen was Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Client Services at LifeCare, a recognized leader in work-life services. From 2008 to 2012, she was co-founder and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Averde Health, a health benefits start up that gives consumers the tools and incentives they need to manage their health benefits. Before Averde Health, Ms. Wachtelhausen was Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Meritain Health, which she helped grow into one of the leading third-party administrators in the country. She began her employee benefits career at Cigna HealthCare where she spent twenty years in various leadership positions including Senior Vice President of National Account Sales.
