Bicyclist in Farmington Crash in Serious Condition

The bicyclist is in serious condition at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford.

FARMINGTON, CT — The bicyclist who was injured in a collision with a motor vehicle Tuesday night is listed in serious condition at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, police said.

Police identified the bicyclist as Raymond Reyes, 40, of Plainville. He was involved in the collision around 9:43 p.m. at the intersection of Route 177 and Morea Road, Lt. Patrick Buckley said.

The driver of the vehicle is a 17-year-old male from Farmington, whom police did not identify. He had no passengers and was not injured, Buckley said.

No charges have been filed in connection with the crash.

The crash is still under investigation by the North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad (NCMARS). Anyone with information is asked to call Farmington PD Detective Jason Hughes at 860-675-2461. Any calls can be confidential.
