Elderly Woman Identified: Farmington PD
She had been found wandering Route 6 Wednesday morning.

Police have identified the elderly woman found wandering a busy road Wednesday morning.
“Thanks to numerous tips following many news broadcasts and postings,we have been able to identify the elderly woman who is from Bristol. Officers from Bristol and Farmington are working to reunite her with family members. Thank you for all your assistance ensuring a positive outcome to this case,” Lt. Colin Ryan said in an email.

The Farmington Police Department is seeking the assistance of the general public and media in identifying an unknown elderly female who was located Wednesday morning.

Farmington police personnel were dispatched to the area of Route 6 and Camp Street, adjacent to the Bristol/Plainville town lines, for the report of a wandering, disoriented elderly female.
Officers located an elderly white female, 5’6”, 150 lbs. approximately 70-80 years of age, blue eyes, with shoulder length grey hair with a slight brownish tint, wearing only a night gown walking east bound in the area of Scott Swamp Road (Route 6) and Farmington Chase.
She is safe and is being evaluated at a local area hospital. Please see the attached photograph and contact the Farmington Police if you are able to assist.
