Bridge Work To Delay Traffic In Farmington
Work is expected to start Friday, Jan. 12, and resume all next week.
FARMINGTON, CT — Bridge traffic in a busy section of town Friday will be impacted by routine maintenance work, according to the Farmington Police Department Thursday.
Police said the Collinsville Road (Route 4) bridge by River Road will have maintenance work ongoing from Friday, Jan. 12, to the end of next week.
After a weekend break, work is expected to resume Monday, Jan. 15, and continue through Friday, Jan. 19, police said.

According to police, traffic will be alternating during the work and "delays are expected."
The Collinsville Rd (Rt. 4) Bridge by River Rd will undergo routine maintenance beginning tomorrow, Friday (1/12), 8am - 4pm. Work is scheduled to continue on Monday (1/15) - Friday (1/19) next week, 8am - 4pm. Traffic will be alternating during the work and delays are expected.
