Bridge Work To Delay Traffic In Farmington: Police
The Unionville Bridge is slated for some roadwork starting on Sunday, Aug. 13.
FARMINGTON, CT — Local police Friday warned area motorists that, starting Sunday, work on a local bridge could snarl traffic a bit.
The Farmington Police Department said overnight road work is expected to begin Sunday, Aug. 13, on the Unionville Bridge, which is South Main Street (Route 177).
Police said the project is expected to be ongoing Sunday to Thursday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. each day and it will go on until the job is completed.

As a result, police warn drivers of some traffic delays and backups.
Overnight roadwork on the Unionville Bridge (S. Main St/ Rt. 177) starts this Sunday (8/13). Work will continue Sunday - Thursday from 7pm to 7am and go until the job is completed. Traffic will be alternating and delays are expected.
