Busy Farmington Roadway Slated For Saturday Closures
Local police said the road will be closed starting this Saturday and several subsequent Saturdays due to road work.
FARMINGTON, CT — Police are warning motorists to be ready for the closure of a busy local roadway starting this Saturday and continuing over the next several Saturdays.
The Farmington Police Department said the road work is planned on West District Road, with the town's public works department expected to have a major presence there.
Starting on Saturday, May 18, West District Road will be closed from Coppermine Road to Bella Lane, with crews working from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Town Highway will be completing roadwork this Saturday (5/18/24) and several Saturdays to come which require a hard closure of West District Rd. For 5/18/24, the road will be closed from Coppermine Rd to Bella Ln. Hours are 7a-5p.
