Angira as a young Jr. Ranger Contestant raising funds for National Wildlife Federation
Dear readers,
Hi! My name is Angira Bhattacharya and I’m an 8-year-old from our community who is working on something really important to me, and I’d love to share my story with you.
I am participating in the Jr. Ranger 2026 competition, where I’m raising money for the National Wildlife Federation. Votes help me move forward, and when people choose the paid voting option, they are also donating to NWF and helping protect animals and nature.
I truly love nature . I think it’s full of wonder, beauty, and magic. This campaign is giving me a chance to do something real to help animals, learn more about the environment, and grow as a young changemaker. For me, it’s not just about winning a title , it’s about making a difference.
If I win, I will also receive $20,000, and I want to give back by sharing it with West District Elementary School, my town library , which helped me learn so much about animals, and the Farmington land trust for maintaining the beautiful trails and hikes in my area.
I also love dancing ballet and jazz, and playing soccer. It is fun scoring goals and being part of a team!
I hope my story can inspire others in our community to care about animals and nature. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
