Lasell College, Newton MA

  • Lasell College honored the Class of 2019 at the institution's 165th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 11, 2019. The ceremony took place on the College's Taylor Field and recognized a record number of graduate and undergraduate degree recipients. Katherine O'Connor of Unionville graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Marketing.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

  • Jessica Colwick, Kelly Rio and Abby Wollenberg, all of Farmington, have been named to the spring 2019 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Siena College, Loudonville NY

  • Kerry Dunn has been named to the Siena College Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. Dunn is from Farmington. To be named to the Dean's List, a student's grade point average for the semester must be between 3.5 and 3.89.

  • Alexandra Appel, of Farmington, was honored at Union College's annual Prize Day celebration. Students were honored for achievement in academics, research, service and governance. Appel, a member of the Class of 2021, was honored with the Anthony C. LaVecchia Memorial Award, to a student who demonstrates a keen interest and passion in journalism, especially with a focus on political journalism.
