• Eastern Connecticut State University recently released the names of full-time students who were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Michelle Erlikh and Monique Marcelino of Farmington were named to the dean's list for academic excellence for the fall 2016 term.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

University of Scranton, Scranton PA

• A trio of Farmington residents were among the more than 1,500 students named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2016 fall semester. The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the fall semester to make the Dean's List. Local students are Brigit Cruess, a sophomore nursing major in the University's Panuska College of Professional Studies; Kerryann Randall, a junior occupational therapy major in the University's Panuska College of Professional Studies; and Nathan Koziol, a freshman marketing major in the University's Kania School of Management.

University of Vermont, Burlington VT

• Carolyn Bittner has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2016 semester at the University of Vermont. Bittner, from Unionville, is majoring in Environmental Sciences in the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences. To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Wheaton College, Norton MA

• Shannon Connolly of Farmington made the dean's list for the fall 2016 semester.
