Campus Notes - Farmington College Students

FARMINGTON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Gettysburg College, Gettysburg PA

• Ashley Van Hoof, of Farmington, has been placed on the Gettysburg College Dean's Honor list for outstanding academic achievement in the spring 2018 semester. Students with a quality point average of 3.60 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) for a semester's work are placed on the College's Dean's Honor List.
• Clare Boelhouwer of Farmington has been placed on the Deans' Commendation List for outstanding academic achievement in the spring 2018 semester. Students with a quality point average in the range of 3.300 to 3.599 for a semester's work are placed on the College's Deans' Commendation List.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Monique Marcelino of Farmington, has earned a bachelor's of science degree in Athletic Training from Springfield College for studies completed in 2018. At the graduate commencement ceremony, 626 master's degrees, three certificates of advanced graduate study, nine Doctor of Philosophy degrees, 33 Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees, and five Doctor of Psychology degrees were awarded. At the undergraduate commencement, 817 bachelor's degrees were awarded for a two-day total of 1,493 degrees.

Union College, Schenectady NY

• Julianne Loree, of Farmington, graduated from Union College during the College's 224th Commencement exercises. Loree received a Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude, majoring in Economics and Political Science.
