- Lauren Rossitto of Farmington was recently named to the fall 2016 dean's list at Keene State College. Rossitto was among 1,400 students who were honored for academic excellence in the fall 2016 semester. To qualify for the dean's list, Keene State undergraduates must be enrolled in a degree program and must have completed a minimum of six credit hours in the semester, receiving no failing or incomplete grades. Students must achieve a 3.5 or higher grade point average on a 4.0 scale to earn dean's list honors.

- Lasell College has announced the Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2016-17 academic year. A student must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher to receive Dean's List recognition. Unionville students named to the Dean's List are Kendall Allerton and Andrew Paigo.
State University of New York, Potsdam NY
- Amanda Butland of Farmington was recently named to the President's List at The State University of New York at Potsdam. Butland, whose major is Art History, was among 869 SUNY Potsdam students who were honored for academic excellence in the fall 2016 semester. College President Dr. Kristin G. Esterberg recognized the students for earning top marks. To achieve the honor of being on the President's List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

- The Delta Beta Chapter of Kappa Beta Delta (KBD) at Tunxis Community College in Farmington announced the names of those students who have accepted membership in the business honor society. They were formally recognized on December 2 at the chapter’s induction ceremony. Among the honorees was Edyta Wnuk of Farmington. KBD is an international honor society for students who are enrolled in colleges that are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The honor society was established to encourage and recognize scholarship and accomplishment in the pursuit and completion of studies in business, management and administration culminating in associate degree conferral. To be eligible for induction, a student must have completed 30 credit hours toward their associate degree in business administration and have attained a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or better.
