Chairman Mike Clark for Meredith Trimble

It is with great enthusiasm that I write this endorsement of Meredith Trimble to be elected to the Farmington Town Council.  Her background and foundation of knowledge of government is remarkable. She currently sits as an elected member of the Farmington Board of Education.  On the grassroots level, she is an active member of the Union School PTO.  In her professional career, Meredith has worked for the Federal Elections Commission, served as the Director of Education for the State of Connecticut Ethics Commission, and worked as a global compliance officer for United Technologies Corporation.

However, outside of this remarkable resume, what leads me to this endorsement is the fact that Meredith knows and loves her community.  She lives in Unionville.  Her two children attend Union School.  Her husband, Dr. Ryan Trimble, has opened a small business, Union Eye Works, in the center of town.  Simply stated, Meredith’s entire life is heavily invested in her family and community.

In closing, Meredith Trimble is an intelligent, caring, and engaged candidate who embodies the spirit of being a “public servant”.  She is an excellent listener, who will take the time and energy needed to engage Unionville’s citizens in resolving issues that arise.  My wife Sue and I will be enthusiastically voting and working for Meredith’s election – and I hope many of you will join us in supporting her as a candidate for Farmington’s Town Council.
