Chaos On Farmington Roads Due To Flooding/Wind: FPD: UPDATE
Multiple areas of town have road closures after fallen trees/branches took down power lines and roadways flooded, police said.

FARMINGTON, CT — Local police report a plethora of road closures in town Monday morning due to incidents linked to Sunday/Monday's heavy wind/rain storm.
While downed trees and power lines caused the most havoc in the morning, Farmington police said Monday afternoon that flooding is now taking over some areas of town.
According to the FPD, Meadow Road is closed due to flooding between Main Street (Route 10) and Red Oak Hill Road.

Police also said Johnson Avenue at the Plainville Town line will be closed soon due to flooding.
According to the FPD Monday afternoon, downed trees/branches have taken down powerlines at several spots in town.

Those included Waterville Road (Route 10) between Farmington Avenue and Aqueduct Lane; Mountain Spring Road between Farmington Avenue and Talcott Notch Road; and Old Mountain Road between Farmington Avenue and Eli Road.
Police early Monday afternoon reported that Waterville Road and Old Mountain Road have reopened.
