Cheering On the Rock Cats!

Middlewoods of Farmington residents, Cliff Davis (89 yrs. old), and Don deNagy (86 yrs. old) enjoyed a night out with the Rock Cats on Friday, June 20th at New Britain Stadium. The gentlemen posed for a photo with Middlewoods of Farmington Executive Director, Katie Mauriello and her two boys, Joey        (8 yrs. old) and Matthew (6 yrs. old). Residents, family members, and staff gathered at the ball park to cheer on the Rock Cats and enjoyed a pre-game tail-gate party in the parking lot, plenty of good baseball, and a post-game pyrotechnics show at the stadium later in the evening. The event was organized by activities staff and the Middlewoods of Farmington team, and also included staff, residents, and family members from their sister community, Middlewoods of Newington. Both communities have been attending Rock Cats games and tailgating in the parking lot with their residents and families for the past five years, making “cheering on the Rock Cats” an annual tradition!
