Dear Friends, Neighbors and Fellow Farmington Parents,
I am writing to whole-heartedly endorse William Baker for the Board of Education. When I learned that Bill was running for the Board of Education, I was very excited because I know Bill has the skills, expertise and knowledge that are needed of a Board member. Bill is a passionate, dedicated and thoughtful person who has given his time to maintain the character of our town and ensure that it remains one of the best communities in Connecticut to raise a family.
Bill and his wife Joy have raised their two children in Farmington. Over the past twelve years until his youngest child graduated from Farmington High School this past June, Bill was actively engaged in their education and growth. Outside of school, he was involved in the Girls Soccer Booster Club and was a Farmington Soccer Club travel coach for many years. Bill has seen the several changes that have occurred in our schools and has a distinctive viewpoint on the school system. As a parent who has one child who has graduated from the school system and two still in, I know that Bill will bring his experience and knowledge to enhance the quality of their education as a Board member.

Bill’s professional background in accounting will ensure that our programs are budgeted for and maintained. Bill’s wife is a third grade teacher and he understands what teachers need to effectively educate our children. He is someone that any parent with a child in the Farmington school system should support. I will be voting for William Baker on November 5th and encourage all Farmington parents to do so as well.
