College Accomplishments By Farmington Students

FARMINGTON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Clarkson University, Potsdam NY

• Cordell Szot of Farmington, an engineering and management major, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester at Clarkson University. Dean's List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.

Stonehill College, Easton MA

• Linna Jalinskas, from Farmington and a member of the Class of 2019, has been named to the fall 2018 Dean's List at Stonehill College. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

• Tunxis Community College in Farmington has announced 13 Farmington residents qualified for the Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester. They are Taylor Blades, Jessica Burnat, Gaston Cohen, Alexandra DiTomasso, Maria Fagan, Katherine Ferland, Maria Lopez, Kristina Muszynski, Kirstine Pedersen, Cain Schneider, Michael Shea, Nina Webb and Daniel Zhakov. Students matriculated in a certificate or degree program who have earned a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher and have successfully completed 12 or more credits, or have earned 12 credits cumulatively over multiple semesters, are eligible for this academic honor.
