College Accomplishments By Farmington Students

FARMINGTON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

University of New Hampshire, Durham NH

• Five students from Farmington graduated from the University of New Hampshire in May 2019. Students who received the honor of summa cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.85-4.0; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.65-3.84; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.64. Jack Brockelman graduated with a BS degree in RMP:Program & Event Management; Rachel Friedland graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS degree in EquineSt:Equine Science; Matthew Keane graduated Cum Laude with a BS degree in BusAdm:Management; Christina Burgio graduated with a BA degree in Cmn:Business Applications; and Alicia Popielarczyk graduated Cum Laude with a BA degree in Communication.

• Rachel White, Class of 2019, has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2019 semester at the University of Vermont. White, from Farmington, is majoring in Psychological Science in the College of Arts and Sciences. To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
