College Achievements By Farmington Students

FARMINGTON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Champlain College, Burlington VT

• Adam Cunningham of Unionville has been named to the Champlain College President's List for the fall 2018 semester. Students on the President's List have achieved a grade point average of 4.0 or higher during the semester. Cunningham is majoring in Computer and Digital Forensics.

University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford CT

• Five students from Farmington have been named to the University of Saint Joseph Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester. They are Meredith McLaughlin, Stacey Pedemonte, Matthew Plona, Kamila Sadowski and Shira Stein. Students who are awarded this academic achievement have earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the semester, with no grade lower than a “B.”

Wheaton College, Norton MA

• Shannon Connolly of Farmington, a junior with a double major in creative writing and studio art at Wheaton College in Norton, Mass., and a member of the Wheaton College swimming and diving team, was named to the 2018 fall Dean’s List. Students eligible for the Dean’s List must have completed three graded courses and whose academic standing has a GPA of 3.50 or higher.
