College Notes - Farmington Students

FARMINGTON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Ithaca College, Ithaca NY

• Ithaca College congratulates all May 2018 graduates, including Christopher Davenport of Farmington, who graduated with a BM in Music Education, and Brianna Goz of Unionville, who graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Clinical Health Studies.

Loyola University Maryland, Baltimore MD

• Loyola University Maryland recognized the class of 2018 at its 166th Commencement Exercises on May 19, 2018. Kathryn Ray of Farmington received a BBA degree in Business Administration, and Taylor Schreck of Farmington received a BBA degree in Business Administration.

Marist College, Poughkeepsie NY

• Four students from Farmington have been named to the Marist College Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester. Maxim Vitkin is a member of the Class of 2018 and is majoring in Computer Science. Beatrix Bradford is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in Environmental Science & Policy. Sarah Held is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in Social Work. Ava Perfito is a member of the Class of 2020 and is majoring in Business Administration.

Plymouth State University, Plymouth NH

• Julie Cunningham of Farmington has been named to the Plymouth State University President's List for the spring 2018 semester. To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 or better for the semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. Cunningham is a Atmospheric Science & Chemistry major at Plymouth State.

University of Scranton, Scranton PA

• Three Farmington residents were among more than 1,650 students named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2018 spring semester. Brigit Cruess is a junior nursing major in the University's Panuska College of Professional Studies; Nathan Koziol is a sophomore marketing major in the University's Kania School of Management; and Kerry Ann Randall is a senior occupational therapy major in the University's Panuska College of Professional Studies.The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean's List.
