FARMINGTON, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Gettysburg College, Gettysburg PA

• Ashley Van Hoof of Farmington has been placed on the Gettysburg College Dean's Honor list for outstanding academic achievement in the fall 2018 semester. Students with a quality point average of 3.60 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) for a semester's work are placed on the College's Dean's Honor List.

Manchester Community College, Manchester CT

• Andrew Arboe and Karen Purboo, both of Farmington, wer named to the part-time President's List at MCC for the fall 2018 semester. Part-time students who have earned a 4.0 GPA with no withdrawals or incompletes in the semester - and have accumulated 12 credits at MCC - are eligible for the Part-Time President’s List.
• Meghan Ruzbasan of Unionville was named to the MCC Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. Full-time students enrolled in 12 credits or more and who have earned a GPA of 3.4 with no withdrawals or incomplete grades in that semester are eligible for the Dean’s List. Part-time students are eligible for recognition with the same criteria when they have completed 12 or more credits of work with a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.
