Connecticut's Top Boston Marathon Finishers Includes 20th Place

A number of Connecticut runners placed very well in the Boston Marathon, including one man who placed 20th overall.

Connecticut is no slouch when it comes to marathon runners. A number of runners from the state had very respectable finish times, including one man who placed 20th overall.

More than 30,000 people were expected to participate, according to the Boston Globe. About a million spectators were also expected.

  • Christopher Zablocki, 26, of Essex was the top Connecticut finisher at 2:20:35. He came in 20th overall.
  • Kevin Hoyt, 24, of Newtown finished in 2:28:29 putting him in 72nd overall.
  • Joseph Darda, 27, of Willimantic finished in 2:29:37 for 80th place.
  • Rob Weston, 26, of Middletown had a finishing time of 2:36:45, placing 173rd.
  • Morgan Kennedy, 27, of Portland finished 227th with a time of 2:38:53.
  • Michael Waterson, 28, of New Haven finished 267th with a time of 2:39:53.
  • Michael Stadolnik, 41, of Plainfield finished at 2:45:31 for a 538 place finish.
  • Michael Orifice, 29, of Fairfield finished in 2:45:35 for 542nd place.
  • Adam Bulewich, 38, of Windsor finished in 2:48:00 for 722nd place.
