Crash Briefly Closes Section of Route 4 in Farmington

Wires across the road prompted closure of the roadway while crews worked on repairs.

FARMINGTON, CT — A portion of Route 4 was closed briefly following a Monday morning crash involving a car and a pole, NBC Connecticut reported.

The street was closed between Highwood and Knollwood roads after a car struck a pole around 5:30 a.m.

Wires fell across the roadway, necessitating its closure until utility crews arrived to repair the damage.
