Crash Closes Section Of Route 6 In Farmington
A car hit a pole in Farmington Tuesday.

FARMINGTON, CT — Part of Route 6 in Farmington was closed off by police Tuesday afternoon after a car hit a utility pole, police said.
Police announced the crash at about 1:45 p.m.
Route 6 was closed between Scott Swamp and Reservoir roads, police said.

One vehicle was involved, police said. The driver suffered minor injuries and was the only person in the car, police said.
Eversource crews were at the scene and police estimated the road closure would last between six and 12 hours.

Police were urging motorists to use Route 10 and Route 4.
