Crashes Cleared In Farmington That Closed Highway Onramps: Update

FARMINGTON, CT — Highway traveling in Farmington was a mess Thursday afternoon, with two key areas shut down because of an accident, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Those areas, however, have now reopened and the accidents cleared, according to the DOT.

Route 9 north at exit 40B onto Interstate 84 had the ramp closed because of an accident, which was first reported at 12:14 p.m. That has, since, been cleared.

Meanwhile, Interstate 84 east's Exit 39 onramp was also closed due to an accident in Farmington and that is now cleared.

That crash was reported at 12:17 p.m.
