Distressed Ducks Rescued By Cop, Construction Crew In Farmington

A cop and a crew came to the aid of some distressed ducklings in Farmington.

FARMINGTON, CT — A good-hearted construction crew and a police officer rescued some ducklings in distress on Wednesday in Farmington.

Police said a crew from Flip Construction called them about seven ducklings that had fallen down a storm drain on New Britain Avenue after their mother was struck by a vehicle.

Sgt. Kory Vincent and the FIP employees were able to rescue all of them and and they all appeared to be unharmed, police said.

The ducklings were brought to a local wildlife rehab.
